Hayabusa Downshifter Kit with Built In Timer

The downshift kit has been specially developed for use with our MBE hayabusa harnesses. It allows the engine rpm to be blipped on downshift to enable a clutchless shift. It simply plugs directly into our harness & can be fitted to either the standard hayabusa engines or to our throttle body conversion. It uses the vacuum of the engine to cause the throttle to blip by the correct amount & length of time to enable smooth downshifts. This is controlled by a small control unit supplied with the kit. You can fine tune the amount of blip yourself with one simply adjustment to suit your own style & engine specification.

When an up-shift is called for e.g. gear stick or cable operated paddle, the shift rod sends a signal to the MBE ECU to initiate a gear change. The MBE ECU can be configured in various different ways, from a simple gear shift with a single cut all the way through to gear control shift patterns depending on accessories fitted.

The system simply plugs into our harness & is controlled by a shift rod part GEAR-PS-SWT-PUSH-PULL. Please see instruction sheets at the bottom of the page.
