Hayabusa Gearbox Potentiometer and Mounting Kit

This kit converts the standard gear position resistor array to a rotary potentiometer, ideal for use with gearbox control systems and closed loop powershift.

The standard Suzuki gear position sensor is segmented, meaning that it can only tell the system whether you are in a gear or not, it cannot tell whether there is only a slight movement away from the gear or anywhere inbetween the gears. You require a sensor that gives a continually variable output so the ECU can calculate exactly how far it has moved the gearbox drum by and therefore make decisions based on this information. Both Gen 1 & Gen 2 have this kind of sensor and our kit can be used to replace it.
