SORT 5W40 XR Synthetic Racing Engine Oil 5L

This oil is able to offer protection your engine even at high oil temperatures.  We have carried out extensively testing on the dyno and on our own race and test cars, SORT have carried out formula changes to the oil during the testing period on the dyno and this is now our recommended engine oil manufacturer.

 

The minimum order of oil would be 4 x 5L bottles (1 case) and we would get this shipped direct to the customer, because we are unable to ship oil ourselves.

 

The engine block on a XE is made of cast iron so has virtually no expansion with heat, but as oil temperate rises the viscosity of the oil will reduce.

 

This oil is able to offer protection and retain a suitable viscosity even at high oil temperatures, this is critical as the Duratec has an Aluminium engine block and as such main bearing clearances will grow dramatically with temperature. 

 

Suitable for Vauxhall & Duratec engines, unless you are unable to control your oil temperature correctly in which case please use OIL-EN-SO-10W60-XR-5L.
