Well done to Steffen Hansen of Team Lindgren, winning the Danish Seven Championship for the 5th consectutive year, also winning the Scandinavian Championship 2018.

Racing talent from Hjoerring, Denmark
Scandinavian Champion 2017 in Seven racing

With great help from SBD-Motorsport and Craig Sampson, Steffen Lindgren Hansen, Denmark, has succeeded in winning the Scandinavian Championship in Seven Racing in his Hayabusa 2005 with SBD dry sump and ECU with the mapping done by SBD.  The best solution in the world for 7 years Steffen has used SBD components without problems with engine performance. Thank you to SBD.

Steffen Lindgren Hansen won the Scandinavian championship this weekend by participating in the weekend’s Seven race at FDM Jyllandsring’s GrandPrix in Denmark.

Scandinavian Championship in Seven racing in 2017 was spread over 2 weekends with 2 heat each weekend, 4 counting heat in total. The first 2 heat was run in Sweden at Ring Knutstorp on the weekend of 07-09 July. Steffen picked up a 2nd place and a 5 place, bringing in total 18 points and that was not very satisfactionary for the team.

It turned out that there were problems with gear shift in the first heat and in the second heat there were engine problems, a broken wire for a fuel injection valve which meant it was a bit boring fifth in Sweden, so now the strap had to be tightened and we had to prepare ourselves for the next 2 counting heat in Denmark.

At the FDM JyllandsRing Grand Prix on the weekend of 18 and 20 August, Steffen won 40 points at 2 first places an reached a total of 68-point, which was driven in purring rain, and despite driving of the track a couple of times Steffen managed Nevertheless to run the win home in both heat, which would be enough to fastnagle the Scandinavian championship.

Carsten Lauridsen from Varde got a nice second place with 56 points and Nicolai Hansson got a 3rd place with 44 points. So the Scandinavian championship was moved in 2017 from Norway to Denmark.

Now it is time to retrieve the Danish Championship also for Steffen for the fifth consecutive years, and for this there are 2 sections of the championship left to be run on Ring Djursland, 16/17 September, respectively and at Padborg Park 07/08 October. In the Danish Championship, the position in the top looks as follows. Mikkel Holch, Aarhus 195 Point, Steffen Lindgren Hansen, Hjørring 181 Point and Carsten Lauridsen, Varde 171 Point. So there will be excitement until the finals are settled in Padborg.

Well done to Steffen Hansen of Team Lindgren, Danish Seven Champion 2016, his fourth year winning the Championship.
