Vauxhall Nova – 1.6L 16V Vauxhall
Email received Graham updating us on his 2010 season:
Hi Guys,
Just a up date on last seasons results, would have done better except Dave Wild built an engine that breaks drive shafts!!!
2nd in class and 6th overall not bad for a 1600cc engine finished in front of a lot of bigger engine cars. Check out the points http://www.rodbirley.com/2010_Points.htm
Your sump, ECU, oil pump parts, loom, pistons, rods, throttle bodies, fuel pump, advice, etc etc
Thanks for all the help 🙂
Graham
Email received from Graham after he had his engine rebuilt with our throttle body kit:
Hi
Thanks for the help with the new engine and the recommendation to DTW Engines, Dave Wild builds a good engine. Ran it at Brands this weekend and it really was something !!
It runs your pistons, rods, taper fuel injection, MBE, sump, exhaust, Quaife box, oil pump mods, if you want to upgrade the customer cars. It made 200bhp at 7400rpm and 147 ft lbs at 7000rpm the torque was flat from 6000rpm to 8000rpm and so easy to drive. Left all the usual suspects well behind.
Graham was running our MBE967I Ignition only system and one of our Group A Wet Sumps on his 8v engine, however he now has a 1600cc 16v Vauxhall engine in the Nova. It still has our Ignition only system on the engine.
Hi
Hope all is well just some stuff to update your section on customers cars, this season I am 3rd in class and 10th overall out of 70 cars and the 3rd 1.6cc car. The car now runs a 1600cc 16 valve Corsa engine about 180 bhp.
