Duratec F3 Starter Motor & Flywheel Assembly

This Duratec flywheel & starter assembly have been designed specifically to suit a F3 type installation. The diameter of the flywheel is 210mm overall and this allows for maximum ground clearance. We designed it for use in combination with our matching dry sump system which has a maximum sump pan depth of 25mm. The starter motor is mounted onto the engine block using the original mounting bolts but with a clever gear design arrangement, we have been able to pick up directly on to the flywheel teeth. The flywheel is designed to accept a 5 1/2″ racing clutch.
