EcoBoost 1.6L short (173mm) bellhousing to Ford type 9 suitable for the normal length input shaft.

The Ford EcoBoost bellhousing has been designed to mate for a Ford type 9 gearbox pattern, this allows for a connection to a range of gearboxes manufactured with this pattern. With the torque output of the EcoBoost being of a very high level, the gearbox you choose is going to need a torque rating in the region of 300lbft.

It has been produced in 2 lengths; standard length 173mm for the normal length input shaft and longer version 192mm for the longer input shaft. The bellhousing has been designed for use with hydraulic clutch mechanism as we would recommend this set up.
